Responsibility:

Engineering Planning and Supervising

Supervise and mentor engineers, technicians, engineering operators in the field of process engineering.
Weekly arrange working schedule and output desired for technician, engineers and operators.
Daily arrange and approved overtime for technician, engineers and operator according to the assign project required timeline.
Daily overview the job task performed by the engineers, operators and technicians.
To arrange weekly schedule planning department on Front End to make sure there is machine availability slot to run all the required projects.
To check with engineer in-charge on the availability of material before running any project running.
To arrange delivery schedule with production, planner and customer service for each project in terms of quantity and deliveries.
Work together with the engineers and PICs to analyse root cause if there is any issue happen.

Control and Monitoring

To make sure that the processes are followed properly and to optimise time by other preparation tasks while waiting for the next processes.
To ensure documents for control and monitoring is followed and completed.
To monitor, tabulate and trace output yield, reject yield and causes, scrap/waste quantity and causes.
To reduce headcount turnover rate through talent retainment.
To optimise line, process, manpower and machine arrangement for downtime reduction.
To control department overtime costs and frequency.
To establish procedures and control for shift change information handover.

Lean Management and Improvement

Work together with other department for any cross function and to improve communication between the departments.
To arrange and make sure that 5S is maintain through effective space utilisation and optimisation at engineering room, technician work place, debugging area, and temporary storage area.
To make sure that the safety procedure and policy are followed by the Engineering tram.
To lead and implement Kaizen activities and lean procedures in various aspects including departmental and interdepartmental procedures, machines, areas and so on.

Engineering Administrative and Procurement

Establish department administrative policies, procedures and standards.
Need to act as a decision maker for the difficult task which required immediate action.
To highlight to management if there is any issue interrupting production process which cause line to stop.
To provide cost reduction plans on operations and purchase parts through local and international sourcing.
To follow up and trace progress of supplier purchase orders and support custom relations for Engineering and R&D projects.
Participate in internal or external training programs to maintain knowledge of validation principles, industry trends, or novel technologies.
Perform task as assigned by superior.
Continuous support for ISO 13485.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
