Welders

a) Setting up welding equipment: Welding Operators are responsible for setting up welding equipment, including welding machines, gas tanks, and other equipment needed for the job.

b) Reading and interpreting blueprints: They read and interpret blueprints and other technical specifications to determine the correct welding techniques and procedures for the job.

c) Welding metals: They weld metals together using a variety of techniques, such as arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, or stick welding, depending on the job requirements.

d) Conducting quality control checks: They conduct quality control checks, such as visual inspections or using non-destructive testing techniques, to ensure that the welds meet the required quality standards.

e) Maintaining equipment: They perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, such as cleaning and replacing parts, to ensure that it is functioning properly.

f) Troubleshooting issues: They troubleshoot issues that arise during the welding process, such as equipment malfunctions or quality issues, and work to resolve them.

g) Following safety procedures: They follow safety procedures to ensure that they and their colleagues are working in a safe environment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

h) Recording production data: They record production data, such as the number of items welded and the amount of welding wire used, for reporting purposes

i) At least qualification of Welding certification or experiences in Welding

Pay: RM1,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
