Job Descriptions:
- Provide guidance to the EEWM organization on process safety management system to achieve a developed and mature safety culture in the EEWM environment.
- Support the EEWM organization in implementation to improve process safety knowledge and understanding through appropriate means.
- Actively participate in HIRARC/JSA/EASI and other process safety related activities for process safety improvement and assurance.
- Monitor, record and report process safety performance for identification and improvement opportunities.
- Carry out process safety audits, inspections and spot checks to determine gaps and compliance level, highlight findings and recommend practicable solutions when needed.
- Recommend continual improvement activities to EEWM organization on process and occupational safety.
- Involve in investigation for process safety and occupational safety incidents and accidents; provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions and solutions.
- Drive compliance to loss prevention recommendations and guideline
- Implement national policies, laws and regulation on environment, occupational health and safety.
- Set up systematic management of risk identification and sustainability related to quality and safety of company.
- Participate in the preparation and daily update management of ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and ISO 45001 related QMS / HSE system and procedures.
- Plan and carry out the relevant OEHS training, assessment, qualification identification, and closed loop follow-up of relevant measures for management and operators.
- Organize annual HSE internal audit, support on all external audit, including ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 45001 audit, and product audit, etc.
- Provide specialist expertise / advice to implement identified action from risk assessment, improvement plan, corrective action, management review, continuous improvement and so on.
- Project and equipment safety management, such as dangerous work permit, safety operation scheme and so on.
- Adhere to all the Quality/ Safety & Environmental requirements.

Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Preferably specialized in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
- Relevant working experiences in a chemical/petrochemical/oil & gas or oleochemicals.
- A valid SHO registration will be added advantage.
- Required language(s);English, Bahasa Malaysia
