Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating training programmes that are aligned with the organisation’s objectives and having a strong understanding of what these are;
  • Embracing different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching;
  • Building relationships with 3rd party training providers;
  • Consult with front line management to transfer HR skills as coaching, mentoring and relationship building to enhance the working environment;
  • Conduct Training needs analysis and identify appropriate training syllabus;
  • Planning annual training activities (induction, workshop, on-the-job coaching and external training);
  • Monitor and assesses the “return-on-investment” factors in every completed programs;
  • Preparing annual training budget;
  • Scheduling the annual training calendar;
  • Input employee training histories into appropriate information’s systems;
  • Liaise with external trainers on relevant training programs.

Job requirements:

  • A degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Human Resource Development/Management, Psychology or related field;
  • At least 5 years working experience in managing training activities from service, hospitality or retail industry;
  • Certificate in Training will be an added advantage;
  • A team player and a self-starter;
  • PC literate and able to operate Microsoft Office.
