Responsibilities:

  • To assist Maintenance Manager in developing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, to ensure all building and facilities, machinery and equipment’s preventative maintenance is carried out and to ensure team deliver with effectively.
  • To assist the Maintenance Manager in providing technical assistance and operational support as required and providing maintenance reports of equipment performance on a regular basis.
  • Provide technical expertise support to the team to perform and supervising preventive and predictive maintenance, trouble shooting and corrective maintenance, work order scheduling and planning, system operation and inspection, conducting root cause analysis and plan for improvement task needed.
  • Cooperates and collaborates with all departments and all staff in determining maintenance work plan or repairs priorities to ensure plant smooth operation.
  • Assists the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the management and maintenance of optimal levels of spare parts so that the operational does not suffer from work stoppage due to parts. managing parts inventory and stock count
  • Assists the Maintenance Manager in monitoring maintenance costs and conducting analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings or system performance improvements. Ensures upgrades and/or modifications are implemented.
  • Ensure all installations and maintenance are safe, correct and comply with all compliance and legal requirements.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out within safety guidelines.
  • Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Oversee subordinate staff development activities, including providing training as needed.
  • 5s implementation – to participate and sustain clean & safe working environment.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Maintenance Manager

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least minimum 5 years of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
  • Experience in a maintenance functional role involving exposure to equipment, facility.
  • Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and a team player.
  • A knowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001 and ISO 45001 will be an added advantage.
  • Possess good analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge & experience in LOTO implementation is preferred.
  • Committed and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties and multi-tasking.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
