SENIOR PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Engineering & equivalent
Required skill(s) : Planning, scheduling, warehouse, transportation, inventories, negotiation
At least 5 years working experience in the related field is required for this position
Preferably Managers specializing in purchasing /inventory/material & warehouse management or equivalent
Able to work well in strong teamwork environment and able to meet tight deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities:-

To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system.
To manage and handle purchasing activities for the company.
To liaise and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors on price quoted and payment mode prior to purchasing.
To ensure PO is issued on timely basis.
To ensure that all products are supplied and delivered are in accordance to purchase order.
To coordinate with project department on transfer of products and equipment from store to site, inter site, site to store or to any other external locations.
To liaise and follow-up with suppliers on the delivery of the materials and equipment as per purchase order dateline.
To monitor on amendments and changes to the scope of work, supply and conditions of contract, variation orders and extension of time.
To ensure all equipment to be purchased are as per project requirement and target delivery date.
To undertake any all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the management.
To comply with legal and other requirement applicable to the organization.
To provide adequate supports to establish and maintain the integrity of the Risk Management System
