Position: Sales Engineer
Location: Segambut, Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team during client presentations, sales pitches, and meetings.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and recommend tailored solutions that meet their technical and business needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations, explaining technical features and benefits while addressing client queries and concerns.
- Assist in preparing sales proposals, technical specifications, and contracts, ensuring accuracy in all technical details.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering ongoing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions to any challenges.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to better position the company’s offerings in the market.
- Work closely with product development, engineering, and customer service teams to align product improvements with customer feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales or as an engineer within an engineering company.
- Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop customized client solutions.
- Self-motivated and proactive in approaching potential clients/customers.
- Must possess own transportation.
Remuneration Package:
- Basic Salary: RM 3,500 – RM 5,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
- EPF, SOCSO, EIS
- Transportation claim allowance
Working Days: Monday to Friday (occasionally weekends for client meetings or events)
Working Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
