About the Role

You'll play a key role in delivering financial planning and analysis that fuels decision-making. This position will work closely with senior management, providing crucial support in both strategic and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insights and advice that support key business decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate management reports, highlighting key financial metrics and performance trends to senior leadership.
  • Scenario Analysis & Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate various business scenarios, pricing strategies, and capital expenditure decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track financial performance against key metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide actionable insights to drive revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
  • Cost Management: Support cost optimization initiatives and margin improvement strategies by analyzing cost structures and operational efficiencies.
  • Commercial Support: Analyze pricing models, sales trends, and market data to ensure competitive positioning and profitability.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support new business initiatives, product launches, and strategic projects.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or commercial finance, preferably in FMCG
  • Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI) is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of financial principles and a proven ability to link financial outcomes to business strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members and leading cross-functional projects.
