Job Title: Ops Support Assistant

Reports to : Mapper & Tuner Assistant Manager

Summary:

Reporting to the Assistant Manager Planning, the Tuner main role are to plan and anticipate daily operational activities including inbound, outbound & box picking as well as to optimizes operational flow based on the need and availability of IKEA.

1. Gate management – Shipment release

1.1 Monitoring gate management to assure inventory accuracy is well maintained (gate management, rested pallets, flow monitoring

1.2 Assign loop, time slot and gate for each outbound shipment and ensure that allocation is performed in an efficient manner

1.3 Ensure that gates are cleared before releasing the pallets

2. Releasing shipments

2.1 Releasing box picking pallets and full pallets on a timely basis and accurately to ensure maximum efficiency.

2.2 Performs impromptu & ad-hoc activities (internal assignment of pallets based on request)

3. Coordination with Operation team

3.1 Extract loading list from WMS and hand over to operations team

4. Outbound Shipment closing

4.1 Physically and via the system, verify that the gates and staging areas are cleared of pallets before closing the shipment within the system

4.2 Monitor closing status of shipment in Cognos report.

4.3 Timely update shipment details and closing status in tracker and share it with relevant stakeholders

5. Gate management

5.1 Monitoring gate management to assure inventory accuracy is well maintained (gate management, rested pallets, flow monitoring).

6. Open Yard communication

6.1 Coordinate with Yard Admin to dock container.

7. System troubleshoot

7.1 Monitor automation during daily operational activities to ensure smooth flow of operations.

7.2 Open incident in case of 1st level troubleshooting due to automation downtime and follow up with external service provider as well as internal superusers.

8. Standard operating procedures

8.1 Comply with the relevant standard operating procedures and work instructions.

8.2 Propose process change to the relevant stakeholders with the objectives to reinforce the control environment and improve productivities

9. Health and safety

9.1 Practice a safe working culture, adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.

9.2 Report any incident or disciplinary issues to the respective manager.

Requirement:

  • At least Diploma in relevant field or its equivalent with experience working in logistics fields of works.
  • Minimum 0-1 year of experience within the supply chain or warehouse operations
  • Competent with MS office
  • Knowledge of the supply chain system
  • Knowledge in system parameters and optimizing mapping accurately
  • Adaptability and flexibility to perform tasks based on operational capacity
  • Fluent in English
  • Team player
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Selangor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
