Junior Video Editor

We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Video Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced team of editors and producers to create engaging and high-quality video content for a variety of platforms. As a Junior Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing, organizing, and managing digital media assets, as well as ensuring timely delivery of finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into a finished product that meets the client's specifications and quality standards.
• Work closely with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Organize and manage digital media assets, including video and audio files, graphics, and other related materials.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop ideas for video content and create storyboards and scripts.
• Maintain and update video archives and keep track of project files for future reference.
• Ensure that all videos are optimized for different platforms and devices, including social media, websites, and other digital channels.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to enhance video production quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in film, media, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and other motion graphics software is a plus.
• Knowledge of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, sound recording, and editing.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A portfolio of previous work demonstrating video editing skills is required.
