What you'll do:
- Document preparation & control: Creating, editing, organizing, storing & retrieving documents, and maintaining the records.
- Assist with daily office operations, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Support in tracking and managing the facility's budget, including monitoring expenses, preparing budget reports, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in creating, updating, and organizing facility management policies and procedures. Ensure that all documents are accessible and up to date.
- Participate in workplace safety inspections, documenting findings, and helping to implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Help maintain records of lease agreements for rented spaces, ensuring that all terms are adhered to, and renewals are tracked.
- Assist in drafting and distributing internal communications related to facility updates, maintenance schedules, and safety reminders.
- Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain Power Point presentations.
- Monitor office supplies inventory including purchase requisitions, usage analysis, and reporting, liaising with suppliers to expedite delivery.
- Fulfilling tasks assigned by a supervisor.
- Handling ad-hoc tasks and general administrative responsibilities as assigned.
What you must have:
- Education: Must be pursuing or have completed a Diploma in Chargeman A4 (or a related electrical engineering qualification).
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical systems, switchboards, and control systems. Familiarity with A4-level electrical installation and maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Basic electrical troubleshooting, ability to read technical schematics, and knowledge of electrical safety standards.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable working in industrial environments, with occasional exposure to noise, heat, and physical demands related to facility maintenance.

- Willingness to work flexible hours if necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) is a plus.
