We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import/Export Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and compliant import/export operations while liaising with various government authorities, customers, and logistics providers. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and compliance of our international trade activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Declarations: Prepare and submit K1, K2, K3, K4, K8, ZB1, ZB2, ZB3, and ZB4 declarations in accordance with regulations.
  • SIRIM Permit Submission: Manage SIRIM permit submissions, including the Certificate of Approval (COA).
  • Government Liaison: Effectively liaise with government authorities such as MIDA, LPK, Customs, and others to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
  • Customer & Liner Coordination: Collaborate with customers and liners to coordinate and manage upcoming shipments.
  • Import/Export Procedures: Ensure all import and export procedures are followed, maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • HS Code Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of HS Codes to check and confirm import/export requirements.
  • FTA/CO Duty Rate Check: Conduct Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and Certificate of Origin (CO) duty rate checks.
  • Metal Shipment Experience: Apply your experience in handling metal shipments to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Sealnet Experience: Utilize Sealnet for managing and processing shipping documentation.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
