Material Planner

• responsible for the strategic coordination of materials needed for production.
• Developing and maintaining detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company.
• Monitoring the levels of materials to ensure optimal stock is maintained.
• Liaising with suppliers and managing relationships to negotiate optimal terms of service.
• Coordinating with production to forecast future material needs based on production schedules and orders.
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies between inventory records and stock levels and prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.

Qualification and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in materials management and planning or a related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as material planner in electronics manufacturing industry.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa and English and write fluently.
• Familiarization with the MRP system.
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin are preferred as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
