Electrical Technician

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician for Machines to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in industrial and commercial machines.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components on machines, ensuring proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery and control systems to ensure minimal downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and to avoid electrical issues.
• Install and configure electrical equipment, including wiring, controllers, sensors, motors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Test electrical components to ensure proper voltage and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with mechanical technicians and engineers to coordinate repair and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national regulations.
• Keep accurate records of machine maintenance and repairs, and provide recommendations for upgrades or improvements.
• Follow and enforce all company safety protocols, including the use of proper protective equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training, certification, or apprenticeship in electrical technology is preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrical technician, specifically working with machinery in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Electrical certification, as required by local jurisdiction, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, especially in the context of machine operation and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
