Technical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to sales/ marketing team & company’s clients
• Execute on-site training programs related toIBS walling solutions to construction industry players (developers, consultants, contractors, e.t.c)
• Prepare technical shop drawings related to IBS walls and other related applications using Autoclaved Aerated Concrete products
• Liaise with contractors and consultants to check and confer on the technical design requirements to ensure shop drawings can be completed on time with minimal errors.
• Conduct site inspection/ surveillance on works at project sites as and when required/ requested by clients

Industry Knowledge:

• Sound technical knowledge on IBS solution particularly related pre-cast wall solutions.
• Practical knowledge of delivering proposals and on-site trainings
• Knowledge of local building code (UBBL Malaysia), local authority’s requirement, and relevant British Standard, BS EN, MS, e.t.c.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 1 year of experience in related background
• Able to perform simple structural design in RC or steelwork
• Able to operate the ACAD & Revit
• Computer literate especially with Microsoft Office and able to use Microsoft Project
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia & English
• Must possess own transport and willing to travel outstation
