Shipping Clerk

Responsibilities

Assist the team in the following:

• Processing domestic and/or international shipments

• Performing a variety of material handling and logistical tasks in alignment with manufacturing production

• Verifying items including inspecting loss or damage against Proforma Invoice or Purchase Order

• Generating Shipper’s Letter of Instruction

• Generating shipping documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List for shipment

• Posting and keeping track of the shipping documents

• Liaising with freight carriers, shipping agents and forwarders as needed

• Posting shipping charges and maintaining detailed shipment files

• Gathering feedback and providing recommendations for improvements

• Any additional assignments for business conduct as directed by the Company

Knowledge / Skills / Competencies

• Basic maths skills and knowledge of personal computer

• Ability to learn quickly while being independent

• Ability to read and assimilate job documentation and identify and configure specific materials for each work order

• Ability to maintain detailed, accurate and organized records

• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders

Education / Working Experience

Candidates with additional education after High School, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,600.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
