Responsibilities:
- Drive and manage the implementation of a new Regional Cards Platform (RCP) for Group Cards in Malaysia (MY), Singapore (SG), Brunei (BN), Philippines (PH), Cambodia (KH) & Indonesia (ID).
- Managing the Program Steering Committee and updating the Senior Management Team on the progress of the entire project.
- Engage the relevant stakeholders across all the 6 markets & the respective portfolios in Business & Group Technology to execute the RFP process in evaluating and selecting the new vendor(s) & system(s).
- Preparing the approval papers to seek the funding approval from the respective committee(s) up-to Maybank Group’s Board level.
- Drive, manage & track/monitor the project timelines, project budget, RCP Project Team comprising of Business Team(s), IT Team(s) & Vendor(s) in delivering the new system and de-commissioning the existing system(s) in MY, SG, BN, PH, KH & ID.
- Making strategic decision and providing strategic leadership and direction especially to the project team member(s).
- Identifying & resolving current & potential issues/concerns impacting the project & teams across all geographical areas involving Maybankers, Vendors, Business Partners & Cards Schemes.
Requirement:
- BA/BSc degree or equivalent work experience
- Solid experience in Banking & Project Management experience
- Highly analytical, logical thought process, assertive, highly ethical, work under pressure, meet timelines
- Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate information effectively to wide range of internal and possibly external stakeholders
- Conflict management, must be able to influence peers and superiors and ability to solve problems.
- High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan own work load, exercise initiatives & work independently
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
- Highly competent in understanding & resolving issues any concerns and issues highlighted by the Team members prior to escalating upwards.
