The Head of Agrochemical is responsible for planning, administering, implementing and coordinating effective sales strategies and leading the Agrochemical Business unit toward achievement of set corporate sales and market share objectives.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic expertise on agrochemical trends and market dynamics to the management team.
  • Strategize and implement cost-effective business plans and market development initiatives specific to agrochemical products.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with key stakeholders in the agriculture sector, including farmers, distributors, regulatory authorities, and industry organizations.
  • Lead and motivate the team within to optimize performance and drive growth.
  • Set and achieve sales and profit targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and sustain ongoing orders to meet sales and profit objectives consistently.
  • Collaborate closely with other divisions within the company to leverage synergies and address cross-functional challenges.
  • Ensure strict adherence to product registration requirements, regulatory standards, and compliance measures governing agriculture chemical products.

Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in business operations/sales with at least five years of management experience in the Agrochemical industry
  • Proven experience with leading regional team is an added bonus
  • Proven experience dealing with digitalisation projects within the agrochemical industry is an added bonus
