Housekeeping Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

The role of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to schedule, assign, supervise and assist in the upkeep of all housekeeping operations on the floor assigned to you to the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance. To assist in any assignment within the department promptly and whenever necessary.

Ensure that the requests and needs of all guests are accommodated. To be responsive to the instructions of the Housekeeping Manager.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department during the shift, acting as the management representative for the Hotel to ensure complete guest and patron satisfaction.

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, assigning and assisting in the upkeep of the rooms or public areas under Housekeeping whenever necessary to the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance.

You will assist the Housekeeping Manager with all elements of departmental operations, making business decisions for the unit in the absence thereof, while keeping in mind the Hotel’s philosophies, standards and procedures.

The Housekeeping Supervisor always ensures that ambassadors act courteously, safely and efficiently, per the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high degree of service is maintained.

Carry out procedures to ensure a smooth & efficient hotel area cleanliness. Ensures guest and ambassador satisfaction and maximizes the guest satisfaction and financial performance of the hotel.
