Roles & Responsibilities

  • In-depth coverage and understanding of assigned accounts directly and/or with channels to identify customer needs and develop opportunities.
  • Develop and execute effective sales activities (I.e.. products/solution, opportunity follow ups) for the industry to achieve sales growth objectives assigned.
  • Provide updates on sales funnel, forecasts and account status/activity as required.
  • Collaborate with Market Product Management teams regarding competitor updates, product, and market needs to increase "win" probability and market share.
  • Support in the development and implementation of marketing plans and activities as needed.
  • Ensure all assigned account issues are resolved in a timely manner and escalated as needed.
  • Align and comply with company policy on sales processes and use of sales tools.
  • Proactive usage of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to help maintain account details for funnel management and effective collaboration.
  • Maintain sound technical & application knowledge of all SICK products, relevant to industry assigned to develop the trust and confidence of our customer base.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Industry Management team to align strategy and initiatives for assigned industry and accounts.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Control/Instrument Engineering or related fields.
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience within a sales environment in Industrial Automation; Experience in the Semiconductor/ Electronics/ Machine Vision/ Digital Solution Industry will be an added advantage.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Business meetings and discussions to be conducted in English & Mandarin, strong command is preferred.
  • Customer-centric and results-oriented.
  • Disciplined, hardworking, and able to perform under pressure.
