About the Role:

Ovyo is partnering with a fast-growing company who are building pioneering next-generation cloud-native OTT services, supporting the scaling of their India team and operations. We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager (OTT) to join the team and make an impact in one of our most important projects with a flagship client. In this position, you will lead the smooth operation of this busy team, and you will collaborate with various senior stakeholders. This requires a seasoned professional with exceptional communication skills, a high degree of autonomy, proactive risk assessment abilities, and a self-driven mindset from day one. You should be at ease making confident decisions and possess a track record of leading software development teams effectively. The ideal candidate will exude confidence with a direct and assertive approach, all while carefully considering the project's and team members' well-being in their decision-making process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple OTT software development projects at the same time, coordinating efforts between internal and external teams
• Work with clients to understand their needs, develop detailed project plans, and conduct roadmap workshops
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including Conditional Access, Middleware, OTT/Multiscreen solutions, and Broadband products
• Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule
• Facilitate communication between clients, stakeholders, and internal/external teams to ensure smooth execution
• Oversee project budgets, manage scope changes, and prepare revenue forecasts
• Ensure all contractual and commercial commitments are fulfilled
• Provide regular project status updates to both clients and internal teams
• Continuously work on improving project management processes, tools, and team dynamics

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in managing software or application development projects, preferably in Agile environments.Demonstrated experience in leading OTT, multiscreen, or similar software projects
• Solid understanding of STB Middleware, Broadcast Engineering, and Conditional Access systems
• Expertise in risk management, resource planning, and managing project dependencies
• Experience working closely with QA teams and managing bug triages using tools like Jira
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to work across geographically dispersed teams
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Visio, with strong documentation and reporting skills
• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certifications preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and balance competing priorities
• Flexibility to travel internationally for meetings with clients, third parties, and product teams as needed
