Job Summary:
The Food & Hygiene Manager ensures food safety, hygiene, and quality within the resort. This role involves compliance with food safety regulations, staff training, and implementing hygiene practices for a safe dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure food preparation and service areas comply with safety regulations.
- Develop and monitor hygiene protocols across all food outlets.
- Train and supervise kitchen and service staff on food handling practices.
- Monitor food quality to meet Club Med’s standards.
- Investigate food safety incidents and report to management.
- Maintain records of inspections and prepare compliance reports.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Stay updated on food safety trends and implement improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Degree/diploma in Food Science or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in food safety or hygiene management, preferably in hospitality.
- Certifications: HACCP certification or equivalent required.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective training and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Working Conditions:
Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; may require standing for long periods in kitchen settings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
