Job Summary:
The Food & Hygiene Manager ensures food safety, hygiene, and quality within the resort. This role involves compliance with food safety regulations, staff training, and implementing hygiene practices for a safe dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure food preparation and service areas comply with safety regulations.
  • Develop and monitor hygiene protocols across all food outlets.
  • Train and supervise kitchen and service staff on food handling practices.
  • Monitor food quality to meet Club Med’s standards.
  • Investigate food safety incidents and report to management.
  • Maintain records of inspections and prepare compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure food safety standards are met.
  • Stay updated on food safety trends and implement improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Degree/diploma in Food Science or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in food safety or hygiene management, preferably in hospitality.
  • Certifications: HACCP certification or equivalent required.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective training and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Working Conditions:
Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; may require standing for long periods in kitchen settings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
