Job Summary:
As a Chef De Partie, you will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. You’ll collaborate with the culinary team, maintain food safety standards, and mentor junior chefs, contributing to the exceptional dining experience we offer our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with restaurant standards.
  • Oversee a section of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and timely food production.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in menu planning, stock control, and cost management.
  • Mentor, and guide junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and skill development.
  • Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor portion control and minimize food waste while maintaining the highest level of food quality.
  • Assist in developing creative and seasonal menu ideas.

Requirements:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences.
