Role Summary:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the company’s overall business plan and long-term goals.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR team, ensuring that all HR activities support business growth and employee satisfaction.

Recruitment and Talent Management:

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and manage employee relations issues.

Learning and Development:

  • Oversee the creation and delivery of training and development programs that foster employee growth and leadership development.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to enhance performance and skills development.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Manage compensation programs, including salary benchmarking, bonuses, and incentives, ensuring competitiveness within the industry.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Ensure compliance with compensation and benefits regulations.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and oversee the performance management process, including setting objectives, performance appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
  • Work with department heads to ensure that performance reviews are conducted fairly and consistently.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure the company complies with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Mitigate HR-related risks by developing and enforcing policies related to workplace safety, equal employment opportunities, and diversity and inclusion.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Use HR analytics to assess workforce trends, employee performance, and overall HR effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership to support decision-making and strategic planning.

HR Technology and Systems:

  • Manage HR systems, ensuring they support HR processes, such as employee data management, payroll, and performance tracking.
  • Drive the adoption of digital tools to improve HR efficiency and enhance the employee experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop HR teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with HR systems (HR2000) and data analysis.
  • Ability to provide advisory to senior management and drive organizational change.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be willing to work office based at Shah Alam Section 15/22, Monday to Friday.
  • Must be able to travel when required
