Class Teacher

The class teacher is responsible for the day-to-day management of a classroom and the academic, social and emotional development of students. The role involves creating a positive learning environment, delivering lessons, and providing guidance to ensure students meet their learning goals.

Planning and Delivering Lessons:

• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Adjust teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
• Incorporate technology and multimedia to enhance learning experiences.

Classroom Management:

• Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
• Set clear expectations for behavior and enforce rules consistently.
• Manage time effectively to maximize learning opportunities.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Monitor students’ progress through class participation.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic performance.

Student Development:

• Foster emotional and social development by encouraging collaboration and positive relationships.
• Provide individual support to students facing academic or personal challenges.
• Act as a mentor and role model, instilling values of responsibility and respect.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, updating them on student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the school leadership team on curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions and parent-teacher conferences.

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,600.00 per month
