PACKING CAKE @ CAKE DEPARTMENT

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Cake Packing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and accurate packing of cakes and baked goods to ensure they are prepared for delivery to customers. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and presentation of our products, contributing to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our bakery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing: Carefully pack cakes and other baked goods according to company standards to ensure they arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
• Quality Control: Inspect cakes for quality and appearance before packing, making sure they meet the company's high standards.
• Labeling: Accurately label all packed goods with the correct product information and expiry dates.
• Inventory Management: Assist with tracking inventory levels of packing materials and report any shortages or needs to the supervisor.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all health and safety regulations to ensure a hygienic packing environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of packing tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
