About the role

Join the growing CDP Group as a HR/Payroll Service Specialist based in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the complete payroll process for our customers and ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries and benefits.

What you'll be doing

  • Process payroll for customer's employees, including calculation of wages, withholding taxes, and other deductions
  • You will be working with our service teams in China and in other countries to maintain accurate employee records and payroll data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Liaise with HR and Finance teams to resolve any payroll-related queries or discrepancies
  • Prepare and submit all necessary payroll reports and remittances to the relevant authorities
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the payroll system, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Provide payroll training and support to employees as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a payroll specialist or similar role, preferably within the accounting/finance industry
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements
  • Preferred to have HR/Payroll Service experience in any South Asian/ASEAN countries.
  • Proficient in using payroll software and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees and stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
