Risk Analyst

About the Role

The Risk Analyst is responsible for the operational functions relating to the management and administration of the trading servers. The position oversees all aspects of both MT4 and MT5 administration and configuration, account creation and management, balance & credit transactions, Rebate account configuration and reconciliation, Swaps and Rollover administration and general transaction reconciliation and reporting.

Key Accountabilities

Reporting to the Team Leader, Risk Operations, this dynamic role offers the opportunity to shape the trading operations of our organization. You'll be at the forefront of establishing a best-in-class Trading team. Your key responsibilities will be both varied and impactful, including:

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Administration:

• Manage all aspects of MT4 and MT5 platform administration and configuration, including account creation, management, balance, and credit transactions, rebate account configuration, and reconciliation.
• Oversee swaps and rollover administration, as well as general transaction reconciliation and reporting.

Risk Management and Analytics:

• Provide analytical, transaction, and risk management support to Sales and Trading, specifically related to derivatives and securities transactions.
• Conduct global trade and position reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of derivatives flows, liquidity providers position and cash reconciliation.

Trade Flow and Operational Risk Management:

• Ensure accurate market configuration, account opening, and cash settlement processes.
• Resolve complex trade flow problems through an in-depth evaluation of procedures and industry standards.
• Support trade capture management, front-to-back reconciliation, operational risk identification, and settlement forecasts.

Platform Integration and Optimization:

• A basic understanding of management of the oneZero hub, ensuring seamless operations between liquidity providers and the trading platform.
• Contribute to the integration of new trading platforms and third-party software, ensuring that all are fully operational within the existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with API specialists to ensure smooth integration and comprehensive testing of new platforms.

Revenue Maximization

• Implement strategies to maximize risk-free revenue, including optimizing trade execution, managing liquidity, and enhancing trading operations.
• Continuously assess and improve trading processes to ensure they align with revenue goals and market conditions.

Process Improvement:

• Contribute to the development of new techniques related to the trade lifecycle, improving processes and workflow across the trading operations.
• Escalate control gaps and issues to leadership and implement procedures and solutions to mitigate risk.
• Enhance operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall service delivery.

This role also ensures continuous improvement in trading operations and processes, driving agility and flexibility in response to market and industry changes. You will play an active role in identifying operational risks and implementing solutions to mitigate them and to collaborate with various departments to enhance overall trading operations and service delivery.
