To monitor the efficiency of the production lines, be in charge of production troubleshooting and ensure the quality of the product meets customer requirements
Study production and machine requirements
Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training
Design and install equipment
Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources
Improve production and inspection process through jig, fixture and gauge design cum fabrication
Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performance
Resolve issues and delays in production
Find ways to reduce costs and maximize quality
Train staff in new and existing processes
Collaborate with other engineers, contractors and suppliers
Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations
Upgrade systems and processes with new technology
To follow up on relevant production non-conformance issues and ensure action is taken accordingly
Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
To identify & implement continuous improvements to the Company's production processes
Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability
Carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by Superior/Management
Develop documentation to support production (work instructions, flow charts, procedures, routings, product labels
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Degree / Diploma holder in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
Min 5 year working experience in related to the field.
