Guest Relation Assistant

Taking room reservations, giving out correct information about rates, promotions and queries.
Look through the correspondence and key in the special arrangements/request (if any) before actual date of guest arrival.
Pre-blocked room if spefically asked for (if any).
Prepares and sends out reservation confirmation fax to all guest who made reservations except for callers who do not have fax.
Raise complimentary fruit basket/amenities forms to respective department for any guest who is entitled for it (ie. Suite booking and VIP guest ).
Send out reservation confirmation slips for confirm booking.
Arrange transportations for arrival guest upon request.
Should be aware of the various hotel packages & outlets promotions.
Prepare statistical information reports such as group materialization report, Turnaway report, no show report and etc.
Has a proper filing system ie. files for contract rates, T/A rates quatotion or group bookings.
To control the room status in terms of over booking and to have knowledge to upsell the rooms.
