Job Summary: The IT Service Management (ITSM) internship is designed to provide exposure to a variety of ITSM tasks and responsibilities that is expected from an entry-level service management associate. This includes carrying out duties as part of the team by providing support and assistance to the core IT Service Management members in daily operations.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in IT service management processes, including incident management, problem management, change management, and IT disaster recovery planning.
Job Description:
- Assist with incident and request management, including logging, categorization, and resolution of incidents and requests
- Assist to run, monitor, evaluate, and improve ITSM reports
- Participate in IT service reviews and process improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the documentation and improvement of IT Service Management processes
- Assist in creation, maintaining and dissemination of IT Service Management training materials
- Assist in Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) processes
- Provide support to the IT Service Management team as needed
Job requirement:
- Currently enrolled in an IT-related degree program
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
