Job Summary:

The Storekeeper at Flower Frenzie is responsible for managing the inventory and storage of floral supplies, event décor items, and related equipment.

This includes receiving, organizing, and distributing materials for daily operations and events. The Storekeeper ensures that all supplies are well-maintained, inventory levels are accurate, and storage areas are organized for efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of stock levels
Ensure timely restocking of floral supplies, event décor items, tools, and equipment.
Perform regular stock-taking and inventory checks.
Coordinate with the purchasing team to order materials as needed.

2. Receiving and Dispatching:
Receive deliveries of event décors and equipment
Ensure accuracy and quality of equipment
Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of all items received.
Label, store, and organize inventory items in their designated areas for easy access.
Prepare and dispatch materials for events, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

3. Warehouse Organization:
Ensure that the storage area is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Implement and maintain an efficient system for organizing supplies, ensuring items are easy to locate.
Oversee the maintenance and proper storage of tools, event props, and equipment.

4. Coordination with Other Departments:
Collaborate with the operations and outlet teams to understand material requirements for upcoming events.
Communicate with the logistics team for timely delivery of events items
Backup logistics team for timely delivery of retail orders and events
Assist in managing the flow of materials between departments and events.

5. Quality Control:
Ensure all floral supplies and event materials are stored in optimal conditions.
Monitor perishable items for quality, discarding any items past their prime.
Report any discrepancies or damaged items to management.

6. Administrative Tasks:
Maintain proper documentation of stock levels, incoming and outgoing materials.
Create and update inventory records in relevant systems.
Prepare reports on stock usage, shortages, and ordering recommendations.

7. Health & Safety:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to the handling and storage of materials.
Ensure that perishable items, such as flowers and food products, are stored according to safety guidelines.
Keep the storage areas compliant with company and legal safety standards.
