Senior Signal Wireman

Day-to-Day
• Reports to the Assistant Manager of Logistics & Asset Department
• Responsible for the planning, leading, controlling, monitoring, overseeing and inspecting
the repair and maintenance of company’s assets (vehicle, machineries etc)
• Manage, schedule, monitor and control progress and quality of assets repair and
maintenance (monthly)
• Accountable for cost incurred on assets maintenance and repairs
• Keep proper records and files of cost of assets maintenance and repairs
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to save cost
• Maintain high level of safety and security at work site/station during work
• Assist the Project Manager and Construction in their duties such as:
• planning and preparing the schedules (pertaining to company’s assets)
• material delivery
• plant and machinery requirement
• tools requirement
• sub-contractor procurement schedule, if any
• supplier schedule, if any
• Manage, monitor and control usage of materials, tools, plant, equipment, and
machineries
• Track and collate all data of materials ordered, delivered and used
• Attends and participates in professional group meetings; stays abreast of new trends and
innovations in the field maintenance and repair
• Assist the Project Teams in a full range of engagements from Project deployment to Project
completion;
• Providing effective leadership to staff to ensure compliance with project standards,
processes and controls;

Asiakom has highly experienced in-house expertise to tackle any magnitude of railway works; track works, construction of bridges with pile foundation and pre-stressed concrete girders, railway signalling works and railway overhead electrical traction works. With 2 decades of experience, we are entering our third decade with a renewed mission supported with a new management team and key equipment, such as flash butt welding machines to take us into the next phase of our growth
