WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be based in Pusat Rehabilitasi PERKESO Tun Abdul Razak, Melaka. Working closely with F&B Team
WHAT YOU’LL DO
1. Assist in Preparation of Ingredients:
• Perform basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients, ensuring everything is ready for cooking.
2. Follow Instructions from Senior Kitchen Staff:
• Complete assigned tasks as directed by Commis 2 or Commis 1, helping to ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
3. Maintain Cleanliness and Organization:
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized by washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
4. Help in Preparation of Simple Dishes:
• Under supervision, assist in the preparation of basic dishes, gaining hands-on experience and learning foundational cooking techniques.
5. Adhere to Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations:
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and ensure all food handling practices meet hygiene standards.
6. Participate in Training Sessions:
• Engage in training opportunities to develop your culinary skills and learn more about food safety and kitchen operations.
7. Provide Assistance During Events:
• Support the kitchen team during events by performing tasks such as setting up, serving, and cleaning up, ensuring efficient service.
8. Other Duties as Assigned:
• Perform any other duty as deemed necessary by the employer to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
REQUIRED QUALITIES:
Possess at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) qualification
Good Interpersonal, Good communication skill, Computer Literate.
Have license at least D.
Good in Malay and English both written and spoken.
Strong team player.
