We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Specialist to join our Specialty team. This role will be responsible for promoting prescription pharmaceutical products to hospitals and serving our customers at the highest level. You will manage and nurture relationships with our most important clients, ensuring their needs are met and driving their satisfaction. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, to understand their needs and align them with our pharmaceutical offerings.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive product adoption, increase sales revenue, and achieve sales targets set by company.
  • Manage sales opportunities for existing customers, secure new business opportunities, and address any client concerns or issues.
  • Identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders in the assigned territory to increase product endorsement and product usage
  • Monitor and report on account activities, sales performance, and client feedback to management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Improve communication between customers and the company pertaining to business.
  • Enhance sales, encourage repeat purchases, and increase product usage from customers
  • Update healthcare professionals on the latest progress and development in the assigned therapeutic categories.
  • Strategize action plan in achieving individual sales, KPI targets and company goals,
  • Work closely with the immediate supervisor and marketing team to ensure seamless delivery of existing/new products and alignment with client expectations.
  • Participate in events, conferences, and seminars.

Job requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel outstation, including East Malaysia, a few days a month.
  • Must have good command of English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation, presentation skill.
  • Experience in sales planning and forecasting.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, or Degree in a Science-related field or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical sales in the specialty field.
