Job Summary

The Senior Specialist, Marketing Communications & Sustainability role is to support the Head of Department in managing and leading the development and implementation of comprehensive social media, sustainability, and corporate communication strategies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company’s and all its brands social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement for all brands under the company.
  • Monitor social media performance metrics and analyze the effectiveness of content and campaigns.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving social media engagement and reach.
  • Handle PR activities, including customer feedback management, reputation management and crisis communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing and sustainability initiatives.
  • Support the Head of Department in corporate affairs, corporate communications, branding and sustainability functions.
  • Assist as and when required by the Department/Company on all activities under the company or companies under its group

Education & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in social media management, corporate communications or marketing communications
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media management tools.
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Basic understanding of SEO and SEM principles.
  • Familiarity with tools like Meta Suites, Canva and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
