Your duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to, the following:
-To support and assist the Board of Director successfully implements policy
-Keeps the Board of Director informed of trends, issues and problems to facilitate policy making.
-Identifies, assesses and inform the Board of Director of internal and external issues that affects the company.
-To uphold Policy and Standards established
-To monitor financial matters, budget and forecast preparation of ad-hoc projects
-Study, review and improve on Finance policies & procedures.
-To control internal functional system as well as providing recommendations in case there exist an internal control weakness
-To oversee , guide and assist on the stock system (MRP) .
-Oversee the management of Finance Department ; to ensure effective support is provided for the smooth running of operation
-To plan, implement and ensure high level of good internal accounting policies and procedures that comply with the local accounting standards and tax laws. Monitoring cost and consistently monitor and manage cash flow
-To review and continuously improve on the financial analysis according to the business for better decision making
-To prepare financial analysis , identify and investigate any irregularities and make recommendations.
-To ensure timely submission of the financial reports to Board of Director
-To oversee yearly budget exercise and monitor actual expenses against budget.
-To plan and lead all activities ,including stock take, pertaining to yearly account closure and ensure internal and external submission datelines are met
-To attend and deal with external parties such as auditors, bankers, company secretary, insurance brokers, tax agents, treasury and other related government departments
-To liaise with tax consultant and prepare estimated chargeable income and apply for installment payment plan. To prepare tax schedule and answer queries from Income Tax Authority.

-To liaise with external auditor on interim and final audits. To check audited accounts report to ensure a true and fair presentation.
-To review and comply statutory submissions according to due date eg SST, Statistic Report, SSM etc
-To liaise with bank to negotiate for best financial arrangement.
-To prepare and file documents in accordance to accounting standards and statutory requirements
-To monitor and control credit status of customers’ account. To advise efficient collection policy and procedure
-To update and provide advises on corporate tax planning and corporate tax incentives, indirect taxes and individual tax of Directors. To submit individual tax for Directors.
-To ensure all monthly and statutory filing datelines are met.
-To keep complete records and for the duration as required by local authorities
-To provide guidance to other departments to ensure compliance to accounting standards and statutory requirements.
-To participate in projects at Group Level.
-To recruit, train and develop the career of Finance Team.

Qualifications : MINIMUM BACHELOR DEGREE IN FINANCE / ACCOUNTING OR RELATED
Experience : MINIMUM 5 YEARS IN MANAGERIAL CAPACITY AND AUDIT EXPERIENCE
