Under its massive expansion programme, we are currently looking for a diligent and experienced Compliance Assistant Manager / Manager with the opportunity to develop a professional future career growth within the group to be based at Cyberjaya Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Compliance in the development, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive compliance frameworks, ensuring the business operates in line with all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Manage the investigation of potential compliance breaches and work with senior management to address and resolve them.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to the leadership team on regulatory matters and compliance best practices.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs to staff, ensuring consistent understanding and application of compliance requirements.
  • Oversee reporting to regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required documentation and filings.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the company adapts its compliance practices accordingly.
  • Supervise and mentor compliance team members, fostering a culture of compliance across the organization.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and legal counsel to address any compliance issues and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Business or a related field (AML/ABC/ Compliance Certification's preferred).
  • 7-15 years of experience in compliance with a focus on regulatory compliance, compliance monitoring and compliance audit.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing compliance teams and developing compliance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High ethical standards and attention to detail.
