Job Description:
- Manage the day-to-day operations on construction site, ensuring that project progresses according to schedule and budget and control material wastage.
- Liaising with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitoring the quality of workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and safety standards.
- Directing and supervising construction workers and subcontractors to ensure that work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
- Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during construction, such as design discrepancies, material shortages, or unforeseen site conditions.
- Enforcing safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site.
- Keeping accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, reports, and documentation of any changes or deviations from the original plans.
- Monitoring project costs and expenditures to ensure that they stay within budgetary constraints.
- Applying knowledge of engineering principles and construction techniques to solve technical challenges and optimize project outcomes.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Working experience of 3 years or more in construction field. Experience with high rise property projects will be an added advantage.
- Able to write and communicate well in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia (to communicate with management).
- Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking management.
- Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel and Project.
- Able to work 6 days.
