JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To assist Head of Project on Project planning & execution
  • Accountable for all aspects of project including supply management, project controls and project margin.
  • Liaison with Authorities and consultants to obtain all relevant approvals for development projects.
  • Coordinate with consulting teams, internal department during conceptual design, design development and tender stage
  • Responsible for overall successfulness of delivering a project, reaching set targets on time, safety and cost effectively
  • Responsible to plan, monitor and observe master programme plan for executing project on site with management staff and group of appointed Architect/ engineers through concept of teamwork, sharing information, company direction and goal incorporated with cost saving, time frame and respectively authorities requirement.
  • Manage a set of service deliveries, which must be achieved on time to ensure all activities in the schedule are completed in time. As to overcome certain task, the candidate must show initiative and be able to find ways to best adapt a situation to provide a successful overall critical path analysis
  • Track approval processes to achieve Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) and anticipate passible delays through troubleshooting
  • To lead in value engineering in design to ensure cost optimum products
  • Prepare regular management and project reports

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Architecture/ Building or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years on hands on experience in developing and managing development and construction projects
  • Experience in managing Contractors and Consultants in Pre and Post Contract Stages and managing tender process
  • Familiar with Conquas and/or Qlassic assessment certificate and the methodology
  • Well versed with Malaysian and local building laws, regulations and bylaws, as well as authority approval and submission processes
  • Experience and familiar with the latest construction methods, materials and procedures of high-end residential and commercial development
  • Possess a flair for property development, complete project cycle and strategic master planning including other aspects of property development and construction and ability to monitor progress against project cash flow and expenditure
