Traffic Management Officer (TMO)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce traffic management plans for the ECRL project construction sites.
• Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain permits and approvals for road closures and detours.
• Install and maintain traffic control devices (signage, cones, barriers, etc.) to ensure worker and public safety.
• Manage a traffic team, ensuring traffic control equipment adheres to the approved Traffic Management Plan.
• Respond to traffic incidents and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collect and document traffic data for reporting purposes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with construction crews and other project personnel to minimize disruption to traffic flow.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Traffic Management Officer on a large-scale construction project.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Malaysian driving license.
• Willing to travel from Hulu Selangor to Klang for project duties.
