Royal Selangor is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Security Network Infrastructure Executive to take charge of our IT systems, from servers and networks to security protocols, hardware, and email management.

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our IT infrastructure is both secure and aligned with the company’s strategic vision. The ideal candidate stays ahead of technology trends, possesses strong analytical skills and is a proactive problem-solver.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, security, and endpoint antivirus activities to protect the organisation’s IT infrastructure.
• Provide global IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Resolve IT helpdesk requests within 2 working days, ensuring timely solutions.
• Manage backups, restorations, and IT asset inventory.
• Oversee device setups for meetings/events.
• Manage server and Domain DNS management.
• Collaborate on IT infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate IT equipment procurement and vendor maintenance tasks.
• Manage infrastructure work orders and work closely with vendors for project support.
• Manage and maintain company-wide Google Workspace administration.

Key Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Information Security, or relevant certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including network, security protocols/solutions, and server maintenance.
• Hands-on technical experience in analysing and troubleshooting network, infrastructure, server, storage, backup, hardware, email, and end-user technical support requests is an added advantage.
• Candidates with strong technical abilities in network and system configuration, and security solutions implementations are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to stay updated on the latest technologies are essential.
• This role requires availability for after-hours support to address urgent incident requests.
