Description


Primary Objective:

Manage and safeguard the Group’s loan assets to prevent financial losses/impairment losses as well as improve P&L through proactive management of high-risk/distressed accounts.

Undertake projects assigned from time to time.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

  • Relief Head, Early Care & Reporting in his/her absence and manage credit monitoring team.
  • Provide input for review of process, service and workflow improvements with a view to improve service quality at reduced cost and increased revenue.
  • Identify problematic accounts showing signs of early distress/red flags and ensure proper tracking and monitoring.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Internal Credit Policy & Procedures, EAM Guidelines, Statutory Guidelines (BNM/ Exchange Control Regulation Guidelines, Basel Requirements and legal statutes).

Training

  • Manage the career progression of subordinates to fit with their personal development plan.

Requirements

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree - .

- Preferably Certified Credit Professional (CCP/CCP-i)/ Credit Skills Assessment (CSA)/Omega Programme, Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP)

Minimum 10 years’ banking experience with 5-7 years in Credit Evaluation/Underwriting as analyst/underwriter with sound credit risks knowledge.

  • Microsoft Excel (minimum)
  • Good business and credit sense

Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and writing skills.
