Job Description
Arranging scheduled upgrades. Investigating faults in the network. Reporting network status to key stakeholders. Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases. Well versed in Cybersecurity Incident and Response (IR) plan. Able to install, maintain and troubleshoot wired and wireless network. Able to provide 3rd level helpdesk support for all products and services listed above. Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP. Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation. Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks. Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. Arranging scheduled upgrades. With a passion and talent for aligning security architecture, plans, controls, processes, policies and procedures with security standards and operational goals. Having extensive experience developing and testing security architectures of cloud-based systems. Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree. Post-Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering. Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator. Administrator/Cybersecurity. Networking/Microsoft MCSE certification preferred. Microsoft O365, LINUX, SharePoint, HP-UX knowledge a plus. Good writing and communication skills. Ability to multitask. Able to work under pressure
