The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

About the Team:

The Senior Operations & Supply Planning Lead is responsible for managing and optimizing routes and overall resource allocation to align with business goals. This role involves strategic cost optimization through scheme modeling, budget planning, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong supply planning skills, coupled with the ability to support and lead various analytics projects aimed at enhancing supply and demand efficiency.

Job Description:

1.Supply Planning:

  • Collaborate with Operations team to align resources with inventory and supply planning.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and plan accordingly to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure demand requirements are fulfilled during peak periods and promotional events
  • Address any shortages or overages by adjusting plans or sourcing additional resources.

2. Cost Optimization & Budget Planning:

  • Implement scheme modeling techniques to optimize operational costs and maximize profitability.
  • Develop and manage budgets for operations, ensuring alignment with overall business financial goals.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service quality.

3. Product & Project Initiatives:

  • Lead and support product and project initiatives aimed at meeting business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Utilize project management skills to oversee the successful implementation of key projects.

4. Analytics & Performance Management:

  • Support and lead analytics projects focused on optimizing supply and demand.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, including cost per delivery, on-time performance, and utilization rates.
  • Provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Strong skills in cost optimization, budget planning, and financial analysis.
  • Experience in supporting and leading analytics projects, particularly in supply and demand optimization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
