Job Description:

  • Serves as Food Safety Management System (FSMS) Team Leader to ensure the training of Food Safety Team Members, ensure that the FSMS is established, implemented, maintained, and updated. Lead FSQ management review. Reinforce FSQ culture by providing appropriate training and evaluation.
  • Lead and manage the food safety, quality and regulatory system of the BU plants to ensure compliance to Corporate policies/ guidelines including FSSC22000/HACCP, GMP, Halal and related statutory requirements.
  • Responsible for preparation of all plant audits/ reviews in accordance to FSQ policies and governing statutory regulations. This covers F&N Brands/ Franchised Brands and Licensee/House Brands. Respond to and close audit issues for reporting to management.
  • Track, analyse, and lead corrective action initiatives for all plant non-conformances and customer complaint issues. Provide technical solutions via statistical and root cause analysis.
  • Responsible for seeking management’s approval for product exceptional releases, which includes out-of-norm product or partial release of investigated non-conforming product.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science / Microbiology / Chemist / Food with minor or basic in Occupational Safety & Health.
  • Minimum 8-10 years working experiences in manufacturing with knowledge of quality assurance and Safety, Health and Environment function.
  • Good Knowledge of Food Safety and Quality system e.g. GMP / HACCP / ISO 9001/ FSSC 22000 and lab operation and ISO 17025 laboratory system.
  • Well versed with legal requirement eg. Occ. Safety & Health Act (OSHA 1994), Factory Machinery Act (FMA) & Environment Quality Act (EQA).

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Analytical skills / Systematic thinking / Decision making.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in changing requirements in manufacturing.
