Description

As a Commis, you will be a vital member of our kitchen team, responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

1. Assisting all section as and when instructed by the Head Chef.
2. Wash and chop vegetables which includes tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions and etc.
3. Cut, slice and grill meats such as chicken, ham and beef.
4. Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilise equipment before use.
5. Dispose-off expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift.
6. Assist in preparing mise en place for all sections.
7. To assist other sections (Main Course, Pasta, Pastry and/or Pizza) as and when required.
8. To check and ensure quality and quantity of supplies received accordingly.

Requirements:

1. A strong passion for food and cooking.
2. Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
3. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
4. Must be able to work well under pressure.
5. Individual with positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
6. Up to 2 years of relevant work experience (fresh graduates are welcomed!)
7. Proficient in English and Malay.
