Planning Forester Officer

4. Duties and Responsibilities

4.1 Preparation of Annual Work Plan (AWP) for each license area and submitted to Sabah Forestry Department for approval.
4.2 Preparation of amendments of AWP for each license area and submitted to Sabah Forestry Department.
4.3 Preparation of Quarterly Report (QR) for each license area and submitted to Sabah Forestry Department.
4.4 Coordinating preparation of Forest Fire Management Plan (FFMP) and submitted to Sabah Forestry Department for approval.
4.5 Preparation of amendments of FFMP and submitted to Sabah Forestry Department for approval.
4.6 Preparation of accurate survey plan map for coupe permit, form 1 license, occupation permit application, TOL and etc.
4.7 Perform GIS processing and mapping tasks and ensure the accuracy of the mapping database.
4.8 Liaise with government agency such as Forestry Department, Land and Survey Department and Hasil Bumi regarding survey plan and survey work.
4.9 Prepare report required by management.
4.10 Updating any Standard Forestry Operation related to task 4.1 – 4.8 above.
4.11 Not limited to any other assignment from time to time.
