Senior Engineer

- Plan, manage, and oversee road maintenance and infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, address challenges, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Develop or review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for road maintenance and improvement projects.
- Ensure designs comply with JKR standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to design teams and participate in design review meetings.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction, maintenance activities, and adherence to design specifications.
- Ensure all site work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Identify potential issues on-site and propose solutions to resolve them promptly.
- Lead, plan, and manage road maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction projects from concept to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
- Supervise engineering teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance.
- Oversee the preparation and review of engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure designs comply with JKR standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
- Provide expert input on complex engineering challenges and offer innovative design solutions.
- Develop project budgets in collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor and Finance team.
- Monitor project costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Ensure efficient use of resources, materials, and manpower to optimize project costs.
