Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Have in-depth knowledge of marine electronics equipment from leading brands such as JRC, Sailor, Furuno, Danelec, SAAB, Yokogawa, and Tokyo Keiki. Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in the marine service industry.
  • Perform Radio Surveys and VDR APT Surveys as assigned and authorized. A valid GOC (GMDSS Operator Certificate) is required.
  • Carry out repair and installation tasks as directed, with remote support or guidance available if needed.
  • Prepare and submit detailed service, installation, or survey reports to clients or manufacturers after completing each job. Reports will be reviewed by management as required.
  • Ensure readiness for tasks by obtaining relevant manuals, software, and technical information, as well as necessary parts to complete the job.
  • Provide accurate time and expense estimates for each job, ensuring all details are truthful and precise.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and adhere to MPA regulations.
  • Commit to professional growth by taking various training courses or participating in onboard training with senior engineers as recommended by the company.
